Dennis Goodenough was born on 12/26/26 in the Bronx, NY. He joined the U.S. Merchant Marines and served our country from 1944-1946. Dennis met Doris Holmes and married in March 30, 1947. Then he was drafted into service by the U.S. Marine Corps from 1952-1954. They resided in Suffern, NY, until 1990 and then moved to Beverly Hills, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Doris Goodenough, and their three children: Betty Ann Casey, Dianne and Scott Williams, and George and Karen Goodenough. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Dennis was taken home by our Lord Jesus on 9/4/15.
Services will be held at the Veterans National Cemetery on 9/9/15 at 3:00 pm. Fellowship will be held at the Bethel Baptist Church in Beverly Hills after 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
