Dorothy T. Cummings, 93, Inverness, Fla., died Jan. 26, 2014, at Arbor Trail Rehab and Nursing Center. Dorothy was born June 12, 1920, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Frank J. and Beatrice (Lipari) Cacase and was a production worker for the Avon Products factory for many years. She loved to crochet and enjoyed her flowers, both inside and out.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Barbara Rashley, Inverness; her sister, Frances Playford, North Carolina; grandchildren, Patricia Jackson, Paul Bennett and Lisa Mellon-Schwartz; five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Cummings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness. The family will greet friends from 9 a.m., at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home until the procession leaves for the church. Memorial donations are suggested to Helping Hands Ministry of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in lieu of flowers.
