Dulcie O'Connell, 88, Inverness, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Dulcie was born July 19, 1924, in Newfoundland, Canada to the late Reginald and Amelia (Vincent) Berry. She was a homemaker and faithful member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Marilyn (Cal) Ringquist, Inverness, Valerie Norwid, St. Petersburg, Gary O'Connell, Inverness, Bruce (Suzy) O'Connell, Apex, N.C.; three sisters, Lillian Butler, Toronto, Canada, Florence Parsons, Newfoundland, Canada, Amy Martin, Toronto, Canada; seven grandchildren, Linda, Karen, Sarah, Matthew, Kevin, Natalie and Sean; and seven great-grandchildren, Brad, Amelia, Ethan, Ryan, Tyler, Hunter and Jake. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter R. O'Connell on June 13, 2007, her son-in-law, Charles "Buddy" Norwid; her daughter-in-law, Rebecca "Becky" O'Connell; and her granddaughter, Donna Ringquist.
A Eucharistic Requiem Mass will be offered at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church with Fr. Eugene Reuman, celebrant. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends in visitation Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home.
