Everett Fogal Obituary
Everett James Fogal, 91 of Inverness, died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at his home under the care of his caregivers and HPH Hospice. Born on September 14, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Franklin H. and Anna Fogal, he came here in 1995 from Phoenix, Arizona.
Everett was a retired bus driver for New York City Department of transportation. He served our Country in the US Army during WWII, serving in Central Europe and the Rhineland. Everett was a 34 year member of the Spring Hill Elks Lodge; a member of the Inverness VFW Post 4337 and he enjoyed dancing with his late wife of 61 years, Evelyn, who preceded him in death on July 31, 2008.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Carole Allori and Diane Salerno; 5 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and his caregivers, under the guidance of his friend, Mary Parrish. Graveside funeral services for Everett, will be conducted on Friday, January 8th at 11:30 AM from the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, with Full Military Honors provided by the Inverness VFW Post 4337. F
Friends may call at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness on Friday from 9:30 AM until the procession leaves for the Cemetery at 10:45 AM.
