Franklin E. (Toby) Denby of Crystal River, Florida graduated to Heaven May 3, 2016 after a long illness. He was born November 15, 1933 in Omega, Georgia to the late Ernest and Henrietta Denby. He leaves behind after 61 years of marriage his loving wife, Florence Louise Denby, Sister Ernestine Kelsey of South Bend, Indiana, Sister-In-Law Jean Marie Bernosky (Bob), several nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Betty McMenamin of Amarillo, TX
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. After moving to Florida he became a rancher and then had a long career with Florida Power Corporation. Before his retirement in 1991 he was Plant Manager at the Crystal River Units 1&2.
After retiring, Toby and Louise enjoyed many years of traveling in their RV and motorcycling with close friends. He was a long time member of the Red Level Baptist Church in Red Level, Florida.
Graveside services with military honors will take place at 12 Noon on Friday, May 6 at the Florida National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 pm at the Red Level Baptist Church.
Family asked in lieu of flowers please make donation to Red Level Baptist Church.
