Gainesville, FL - Mrs. Bellot died peacefully at home on September 4th.
Mrs. Bellot is survived by her children, Solon (Courtney), Nathan and Lydia (Christian); siblings, Solon, Dorothy and Carol (Claude); Brother-in-Laws Frank and Steve, Sister-in-Law Norine; grandchildren, Julia, Caroline, Dorothy, Eliana, Briella and Sarina; along with many dear cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents Solon and Florence; and siblings, Floss (Win), Charlie, Priscilla, and Marilyn, Brother-in-Law Jack, and Sister-in-Law Mary.
Mrs. Bellot was born near Poultney, VT, to Mr. and Mrs. Solon Sherman. She graduated from Murray State University with a degree in education. She married Robert A. Bellot in 1967 and they celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary together before he died in 2011. She taught for 33 years in Citrus County, Florida, including 2nd grade at Citrus Springs and Hernando Elementary Schools as well as 1st grade at Floral City Elementary School. Her children remember her as a wonderful mother who loved them very much and enjoyed a warm, lively home.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed bird watching and flower gardening.
