Jerry Joseph McKillop, 80, of Crystal River, Florida passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. He was born September 24, 1937 in Logansport, Indiana to the late William and Bessie Mae (Harris) McKillop. The

Jerry was a retired certified welder mechanic with the Systems Maintenance Crew of Florida Power (currently Duke Energy). To his former co-workers, he was Trashy Mac. For years, the family lived in Moss Bluff in the Ocala National Forest as he traveled with Florida Power.
Once the 5 children were grown, he and Patty relocated to St. Petersburg. In 1996, they moved to their home in Crystal River to spend retirement. Once retired, Jerry spent time with his loving wife.
His hobbies included woodworking, crossword puzzles, making the most amazing homemade jerky on the planet, spoiling their Yorkie named Sasha, and being the best Grumpy Grandpa EVER!
