Lane Dakota DeCicco, age 26 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017. He was born July 10th, 1990 in Kingston, New York. Lane was a very kind, indepth and intelligent person. He was a friend to all, a counselor to those in need. He loved to help people on mission trips to Honduras, Russia and Ireland. He was funny and he loved to make people laugh. He wrote poetry, liked to sing and was an electronics expert. He had the biggest heart and loved his family, friends and the Lord. Lane loved his sunglasses and the color green. (you could never have enough green for him) He will forever be loved and missed.
Lane is survived by his parents, Vivian and Tori Cagle and Allan and Teri DeCicco; brother, Wade DeCicco and wife Samantha; sisters, Kirstie DeCicco, Tishia Davis and husband Richard; grandmother's, Lynette Gerard and Albert Stillman, Carol Watson and husband Emil, Kathleen DeCicco; uncles, John Gerard and wife Denise, Jody Gerard, James DeCicco and wife Dody, Joseph DeCicco and wife Anita; nieces, Alexis Cagle, Carrie Davis, Christina Davis, Alyssa Jackson, Alyssa Jennings; nephews, Christian Peppers, Eliott Cordova, Many chosen brothers and sisters: Regina Taylor, Margo Taylor, Jimmy Jennings, Khristina Strickland and Holly Zheng.
Lane was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Gerard and James DeCicco.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Vance Murphy officiating. Interment to follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
