Loy Crusselle "Crussie" Woodward, 66, of Inglis, FL, passed peacefully from this life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 9, 2016. Crussie was born March 15, 1950 in Asheville, NC to Jessie Dean & Crusselle Dewey "C.D." Woodward. They raised Crussie and her sister, Jessie, in Crystal River and Crussie continued to live, work and raise her family here until she moved up the road and settled in Inglis for the latter part of her life. Crussie was an adoring mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. In addition to these, Crussie was a beloved friend and coworker, having held many positions throughout Crystal River and Inglis, the most recent being at Yankeetown School, and was also a member of First Baptist Church of Inglis.
In her life, Crussie made friends wherever she went. Her bright smile and outgoing personality warmed the hearts of those around her.
Crussie's love for the Lord, which grew steadily throughout her life and during her courageous battle with ovarian cancer, was an inspiration to many.
Crussie joins her beloved parents in God's kingdom. She is sorely missed by daughters, Amy Standard Ross of Brandon, Fla., and Jenny Standard (Haley) Bronson of Orlando, Fla.; her grandchildren, Ashleigh Elena Johnston, James Edward Ross, Jr., Jenna Elizabeth Ross, Haley Duke Bronson, Jr., Dean Irlo Bronson, and Anna Crusselle Bronson; her great grandchildren, Kaylee Rayne Ritchie and Kenleigh Rose Ritchie ; her sister, Jessie (Bill) Perry; niece, Deana (Justin) Wolfe; nephew, Greg (Angela) Perry; lifelong friend, Lauren Glausier, and numerous cousins and friends.
