Marilyn Theresa Key, 61, of Inverness, Florida, passed away May 13, 2014, at her residence. A lifelong resident of Inverness, she graduated with the class of 1970 from Citrus High School. Marilyn was employed at Floral City Elementary School for 35 years; after a brief retirement, she returned to serve in multiple capacities.

Survivors include her children, Eric (Verna) Grice and Lawanda Key; sisters, Nadine (Michael, Sr.) Redding and Yolanda Grice; brother, Larry Grice; uncle, Herman (Bettye) King; six grandchildren; companion, Lonnie Chester Jr.; and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends.
A wake will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at Inverness Church of God, 416 U.S. Hwy. 41 S. Inverness. Funeral services will be at the church, 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014, the Rev.
