Maurice Albert "Moe" Dufault, 87, Inverness, died May 9, 2012, in the Hospice of Citrus County, Hospice House, Lecanto.
Mr. Dufault was born Jan. 14, 1925, in Cumberland, RI, to the late Eugene and Dolores (McDuff) Dufault. He was employed for 43 years with the Corning Glass Company of Central Falls, R.I., as a supervisor, served our country in the U.S. Army and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. He also was a life member and past commander of VFW Post 4337.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Skeldon Dufault; his children, Maurice "Dennis" (Linda) Dufault, Nashville, Tenn., Dolores (Robert) Hathaway and Carol (Norman) Guilmette, both of South Attleboro, Mass., Donna (Richard) Brillion of Pawtucket, RI, Wayne (Dorothy) Bishop, Warwick, RI, Scott (Itza) Bishop, Winter Springs, Fla., Christian (Kathy) Bishop, Santa Rosa, Calif., John Bishop of Inverness, and Robin (Kenneth) Fino, Cumberland, R.I.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. His son, Ronald Bishop, preceded him in death in 2005, and he is predeceased by brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 14, at 3 p.m. from the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Fr. Charles Leke officiating. Military honors will follow with VFW Post 4337 Honor Guard.
