Mildred Doris Harron, 87, Inverness, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016, under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast at Arbor Trail Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center.
Mildred was born February 19, 1928, in Patchogue, N.Y. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church for many years and served as a Eucharistic Minister and taught Sunday school class during that time. She worked at Wendy's Restaurant in Inverness as dining room hostess for over 10 years. Her greatest love in life was her family, her home and her church.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sharon R. Nodar; her son James P. Harron and his wife Ruthie Harron; her daughter-in-law, Susan Harron; her grandsons Evan A. Harron and Michael A Harron; her granddaughter, Morgan Harron and grand-dog, Murphy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Nicholas D. Harron, and her son, Frederick D. Harron. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives, especially those residing at Arbor Trail.
A funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, and internment at Bushnell National Cemetery, will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice.
