Randall William Rea, 53, of Crystal River, Florida, sailed away on November 7, 2015, at his home in the care of his loved ones.
Surviving are his wife and partner of 34 years, Ruthann; daughter, Randi (Jamie) Wellbrock, grandchildren, Easton and Kylie; and daughter, Morgan (Cody) Rea; parents, Diane (Bob) Patton and Bill (Nancy) Rea; sister, Robin Rea; mothers-in-law, Shirley Ludwick and Deborah Brauer; and many loved family members.
Randall was a licensed independent contractor by trade. He was a loving husband and father. Randall was an avid sailor with numerous accolades and a lifetime member of U.S. Sailing. He was also involved in coaching his daughters' cheerleading and volleyball teams. He was very involved in his community activities, including FHSAA, Never Say Never organization and Habitat for Humanity and wherever a hand was needed.
He never met a stranger and loved his friends dearly.
Sunset Lantern Sail On Services will be held at Fort Island Gulf Beach, Fort Island Trail, Crystal River, Florida, on December 5, 2015, at 5 p.m.
