Saige Summer Fields, 18 years old, Homosassa, was born on 11/25/98 in Clearwater, Florida. Her parents are Stacy, & Michael (who died July 24, 2016). Michael was an auto body painter. Stacy was a stay at home mom. After Stacy's mother's husband died, they moved in with her, Sharon Karz (Gram). Saige was the happiest little girl I had ever seen, and so very smart. She knew no strangers and was everyone's friend. She was so loved by everyone.
She was in twirling, dance, and at seven she was voted "Little Miss Beautiful." She went to kindergarten in Pinellas County at Rawlings Elementary. All through elementary school and middle school, she was either on the principal's list or honor roll. She loved school and was loved by all of her teachers.
When in middle school, Stacy, Saige and Gram moved to Citrus County. She started going to Lecanto Middle School, where she quickly made two best friends, Michelle Mitchell and Heather Bottona. The three of them did everything together. Such happy, wonderful times for her.
She went to Citrus High School, her freshman year she was a cheerleader. She made so many wonderful friends as the years went on, friends that were good and true ones.
Her father died July 2016 and it really hit her hard and she became very distraught and depressed over that, but still managed to put on that million-dollar smile.
On April 28, 2017, she had a tragic auto accident. She and another girl were pronounced dead and the boy in the car with them suffered a broken femur and other injuries. Everyone was totally devastated and in disbelief. Her Mother & Gram in shock and heartbroken. Still cannot come to terms with her being gone. She was her Gram's Angel Girl & light of her life. Her Mother's Sunshine & loved her to the moon & back.
Her friends, which were many, had a balloon ceremony for her. There must have been over 100 people there, balloons filled the sky with messages written on them for Saige, at Fort Island Beach. I've never seen anyone so loved.
She leaves behind her Mother Stacy Fields, Gram Sharon Karz, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Mike Anderson, their sons Cody & Michael Jr., Uncle Steve Cook wife Aunt Sheila and family, Brother David Cesario wife Roxie and family, Patricia Rithman sister-in-law, Uncle Bryan and Aunt Irene & family, Uncle Joey, Aunt Tiffiny, Aunt Vanessa and family.
Services will be held May 9, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Church on Norvell Bryant Hwy in Lecanto.
Rest in peace, baby girl. You didn't deserve this, you had your whole life before you and you were looking forward to helping Mom & Gram with their Ranch S&S for children with Autism and special needs & disabled vets. Our hearts are breaking. God Bless all of you.
