Tami Winnie-Degraff, age 50, of Homosassa, FL, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012, peacefully at her home. She was born on July 28, 1961, in Newburg, NY. She moved to Homosassa in 1997, where she married her late husband, Merritt Degraff.
In addition to her late husband, she was preceded in death by her father, John Barry Wood.
Survived by her mother, Margaret Wood; daughter, Billie-Jo Winnie; son, Jason Winnie; brothers, Jimmy Dunn of N.Y., and John Wood of FL; sister, Lisa Herwick of Port St. Lucie; and her longtime friend, James
Anderson of Homosassa.
Private cremation took place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, Florida.
Tami was laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery on May 1 next to her husband.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
