William Lewis Tarr Sr., of Inglis, Fla., died Nov. 15, 2012.
William was born and raised in Ithaca, N.Y., to Charles and Helen (Szabo) Tarr. He graduated from Cornell University and competed in golf at the Eastern Open in 1958. He was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by daughters Caroline Brown and Julie Tarr; son, William Tarr Jr.; and two grandchildren, Darby and Maverick Zoccali.
