Sandra "Sandy" Bausher

Sandra M. "Sandy" Bausher, 68, of Ocala, FL, passed away on May 15, 2010, at her home. A native of Reading, PA, she was born May 16, 1942, to James Edgar and Mildred (Knaut) Fick. Mrs. Bausher was a retired English teacher serving at Daniel K. Reading Elementary School, Flemington, NJ, and Perkiomanville School, Pottstown, PA, having earned her bachelor's degree at Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA. Her professional career also carried her to other paths as a production manager for Maher Printing Co. in Pennsylvania, as well as the Devereux Foundation at Beneto Center, Glenmoore, PA, where she served in human resources.
Along with her husband Edgar, she moved to Ocala in 2009 from Beverly Hills, FL, and was of the Presbyterian faith. Her passions and interests included scrapbooking, cruising the world, and her cat Rambo. She was past historian of the Nature Coast Ramblers, member of the Beverly Hills Fishing Club, and Curves. Sandy practiced the Japanese discipline of holistic medicine known as reiki and also held a brown belt in martial arts, which were both indicative of her hunger for life.
Mrs. Bausher is survived by her loving husband of eight years, Edgar W. "Ed" Bausher of Ocala, FL; and daughter Catherine Elizabeth Dederick and grandson Matthew Wayne Dederick, both of Catskill, NY. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Edgar Fick. In lieu of flowers, Sandy's family suggests memorial contributions to your local Hospice Chapter.
