The Service of Remembrance for Mrs. Lucy A. Allard, age 94, of Inverness, Florida, will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Inverness with Elder John Sabo officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Hooper Crematory, Inverness, Florida. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the church. Mrs. Allard was born September 25, 1919 in Topsham, ME, daughter of Ormand and Cora (Dow) Chase. She died March 16, 2014 in Lecanto, FL. She was a homemaker and moved to Inverness from Plymouth, MA. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, crocheting and painting. She enjoyed being involved with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Inverness where she was a member.
Mrs. Allard was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer C. Allard, daughter, Ruth A. Kelley, brother, Edwin Chase and 3 sisters, Dorothy C. Tauro, Edna C. Milnor and Marilyn C. Hobart. Survivors include son, Alfred J. (Pamela) Allard of Inverness, daughter, Dorothy J. Johnson of South Barre, MA, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
