Margaret Beagan, 98, of Inverness, Florida, passed away May 22, 2014, at Diamond Ridge Health and Rehab, Lecanto. She was born Nov. 17, 1915, in Staten Island, New York to the late Jacob and Molly (Lourden) Beck. Margaret was a manager in the dry cleaning business, and arrived in this area in 1977, coming from Staten Island, New York. She was a Catholic by faith, and enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Beagan in 1986. She is survived by son, John (Jacqi); grandchildren, Kathleen Tanner (Simon), Kelly Hansen (Chris) and Brian; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Colin; son, William (Jean); grandchildren, Stacey Seidenstucker (David), Thomas (Traci), Ryan, Sean, Colin, and Catilin; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Trent, Madison and Cameron; daughter, Michele Beagan Cregan (Robert); grandchildren, Thomas (Amber) and Erin; great-grandchild, Kinsley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, May 25, at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to service.
