The Service of Remembrance for Mrs. Virginia May Pazian, age 86, of Homosassa, Florida, will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Homosassa Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes with Pastor Tom Howell officiating. Interment will follow at Fountains Memorial Park, Homosassa, Florida. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service, Tuesday at the chapel. Mrs. Pazian was born August 29, 1927 in Queens, NY, daughter of Doris (Whitehouse) and George P. Simson, Sr. She died June 19, 2014 in Homosassa. Mrs. Pazian worked as an executive administrative secretary for the Director of Western New York's Crisis Services and moved to Homosassa from Amherst, NY in 1984. She enjoyed reading, game shows and playing games, particularly bridge, a game she was very good at. Mrs. Pazian was an active member of the Riverhaven Community Club, Bridge Club, Garden Club. and First United Methodist Church of Homosassa.
Mrs. Pazian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene H.Pazian (06-27-05) and a brother, George Simson Jr.. Survivors include 4 sons, Stephen E. (Barbara) Pazian of Homosassa, Glenn T. (Christine) Pazian of Wales Center, NY, Kyle D. Pazian of Homosassa and Craig A. Pazian of Indianapolis, IN, 3 daughters, Leslie A. Barth, husband, William and Merrill J. Pazian, all of Homosassa and Nancy L. (Fred) Carpenter of Benbrook, TX, In addition to her seven children,
Mrs. Pazian had 21 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
