Mr. Daniel "Dan the Man" Joseph McNulty, age 64, of Inverness, Florida died July 10, 2014 in Inverness, FL under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. Dan was born July 21, 1949 in Columbus, OH, son of Albert and Evelyn (Galiardi) McNulty. Mr. McNulty was a Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War and worked for McPherson Archery, Creason's Archery and Florida Power. He moved to Inverness, Florida from Clearwater in 1987. Dan's hobbies included hunting, fishing, raising hunting dogs and boating. He enjoyed distributing toys to children and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Anna McNulty and his brother, Shaun Anthony McNulty. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Dawn K. McNulty of Inverness, father, Albert Edward McNulty of Lecanto, brother, Michael Patrick (Marion) McNulty of Sandpoint, ID, sister, Colleen Anna (Gary) Grebus of Brookline, NH, sister-in-law, Beverly McNulty of Westerville, OH, many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.
Cremation arrangements will be under the direction of the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes.
