Mr. James Clinton Marvin Sr., age 64, of Crystal River, Florida, died Monday, February 15, 2010, in Inverness, FL. He was born March 13, 1945, in Galveston, TX, son of the late Robert and Cherrie (Rowley) Marvin. He worked as a forklift operator for a block manufacturing company. He moved to Crystal River, Florida, from Canandaigua, NY, 22 years ago. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, music, NASCAR, fishing, and baseball. He was a New York Yankees Fan.
Mr. Marvin was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Vicky Hotel, Ida Pastore, and a brother, Johnny Pastore. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Mary Marvin of Crystal River, FL; son, James C. Marvin Jr. of Crystal River, FL; 3 daughters: Mary Marvin of Crystal River, FL, Cherrie (Ryan Edwards) Allen of Marion, NC, and Chastity Mark Edwards of Dunnellon, FL; 5 brothers: Robert Marvin of Greece, NY, Stephen Pastore of Canandaigua, NY, Donald Marvin of Rochester, NY, Keith Marvin of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Kenneth Marvin of Rochester, NY; 4 sisters: Barbara Bennett of Pittsburgh, PA, Susan Turk of Canandaigua, NY, Mary Beth Pastore of Buffalo, NY, and Christine Marvin of Rochester, NY; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
