Charles S. Hogue, 77, of Tampa, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012. He was born in Inverness, Fla., Dec. 7, 1934. Charles served our country as a member of the U.S. Navy from which he retired in 1995. He was especially proud of his time served on the USS Intrepid. He loved to garden and especially loved traveling the world with his wife. He loved to work and provide for his family, then party to relax with his beloved friends and family. Upon retiring, he ran marathons, two in London, two in New York and one in Antarctica.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Cynthia; two daughters and one son-in-law; two sisters and a large extended family. He will be dearly missed for his infectious smile.
