Charles J. Lindemann, 89, of Beverly Hills, Fla., passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, under the care of Hospice of Citrus County in Lecanto. He was born May 23, 1924, in Richmond Hill, N.Y., to the late Charles Frederick and Anna (Szolchek) Lindemann. Charles was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, a reservations supervisor for National Airlines and Pan American Airlines, and an Episcopal by faith. He loved fishing, going to the beach, traveling, and was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years, Anna Lindemann; his daughter, Holly Anne (Garrick) Crocker of Gainesville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends in visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, with a celebration of life funeral service at 12 p.m., at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles's name may be made to Hospice of Citrus County, PO Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
