Evonne Dixon Obituary
She was born in Salinas, CA July 5, 1931, the daughter of the late Edna and Evan Howard. She was the oldest of 4 daughters. On Aug. 21, 1948, she married the love of her life Fred "Bud" Dixon in Centralia, WA.
She owned and operated her own business "Evonne's Busy Bee Ceramic's", which she truly loved for many years. Being with people was a highlight of her life. Mom, like her Mom, had the "gift of gab" and never met a stranger. Over the years she worked for Dr. Jerry Jacobs and for Ron and Blossom Knutson in Centralia, WA.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Bill Kytta of Rochester, Washington, daughter, Linda Jetton of Centralia, WA and son, Steve Dixon of Pahrump, NV, and 6 grandchildren Shannon Kenelty of Tumwater, WA, Heather Wiese-Quinones of Clallam Bay, WA, Amiee (Chuck) Schmidtke of Olympia, WA, Aubree (Donald) Dixon-Summerhayes of Ogden, UT, Will (Allison) Kytta of Tumwater, WA Ryan (Staci) Wiese of Tumwater, WA. She also had 4 Great-Grandchildren, Halie & Willy Kytta, Grace Schmidtke and Emma Wiese, a sister Enid (Warren) Johnson of Chehalis, WA.
Evonne was preceded in death by her parents Edna and Evan Howard, sisters, Eloise Allen and Elsemae Larson, and nephew, Duane Boland.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Evvonne was a wonderful lady & I have missed her at Women's Bible Study on Tuesday mornings. I was so disappointed to have to miss her service because of the weather. I'm sure she is talking "God's ear" off! :) My sympathies to you. Sheila Smith

Your mom was a daily delight in my young life, more a family member than a friend, even, and a dear dear friend to my parents, Jerry and Elaine Jacobs. She was such a part of our lives, and I can still hear her voice each day greeting me when I came in to the office after school. I know she loved me and I loved her, and I'm sad for your loss. I miss my dad deeply, and I know you'll miss your mom terribly, too. But I cherish my memories and hope that your memories sustain you. Lovingly,

How sad to learn of the passing of Evonne. She was such a sweet lady that always had a smile for everyone she met. She always took the time to talk and ask how you were doing. Such a caring person & she will be missed by all. God Bless all of her family & her memories will always be with us forever.
