FABLE
Robert Fable 91, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away at 8:15 am on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Kindred Healthcare. He was born on December 10, 1921 in Lock Haven, PA to Edgar and Estella (Batchelder) Fabel. On March 3, 1945 Robert married Rita (Frobock) Fable and she passed away on August 17, 2004. Robert served in the US Navy during 1944 - 1946. He retired from General Electric in Evendale OH. He was a historical interpreter at the Sharon woods Historical Village in Sharonville, OH and at the Conway House of the Camden-Rockport Historical Society in Rockport ME. He was a current member of Kokomo American Legion, Kokomo PC Users Club, and Camden-Rockport Historical Society. He was active with various activities at the Kokomo Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include his daughter Nancy (Michael) Jeter of Kokomo, IN; son Norman (Karen) Fable of Manheim, PA; sister Catherine (Richard) Marshall of FL; grandchildren Andrew Jeter, Sarah Chesshir, Lindsay (Steve) Arbutina, Ann (Scott) Leonard; great grandchildren Joshua Leonard, Joshua Chesshir, Keegan Arbutina. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, November 21, 2013 at Faith Presbyterian Church at 1608 Kirk Row in Kokomo with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. A second memorial service will be held at 1PM on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Wyoming Baptist Church Burns and Waverly Ave. Wyoming, OH with Pastor Steve Cummins officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati at 2:30 after Friday's memorial service . Online condolences may be left at www.stoutandson.com.
