BARDO Grace Dorothy (nee Day), beloved wife of the late John Thomas Bardo, devoted mother of Richard Woodrow Bardo (Patricia) and John William Bardo (Deborah), loving grandmother of Christopher Bardo, Tony Bardo (Scarlett) and Mike Bardo (Candy), great grandmother of Lucas Bardo and Paxton Bardo, dear sister of the late Ralph Day, Mildred Day, Fred Day, George Day, Dorothy Dann and Woodrow Day, dear friend of the late Gene Panaro. Grace was a 1936 Graduate of Walnut Hills High School, a member of the D.A.R. and a world traveler. She passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the age of 95 years. Visitation will be held Friday from 10-12 at the Bolton & Lunsford Funeral Home, 3042 Harrison Ave., Westwood where funeral services will be held Friday at 12:00 noon. Cherished mother of Sheila (Tim White) Cosgrove, Steven (Margie Nicholson) Cosgrove, Andrew (Linda) Cosgrove, David (Yoshiko Morizane) Cosgrove, Marion Cosgrove (Christian) Rauch, and grandsons Maximilian and Lukas Rauch. FRANKLIN Louis, Born February 13, 1920, died July 25, 2015. Beloved husband of Elaine (Skurow) Franklin of Boca Raton, adored father of Greg (Patricia) Franklin of Cincinnati, Ohio, Zachary (Lourdes) Franklin of Miami, and Diane Evers ( Rick) of Cincinnati, Ohio. Cherished Grandfather, Zaida and Yayay of Marnie, Howard, Mallory, Jacob, Michael and Mark, and Great-Grandfather to Lizzie and Olivia. Uncle and Great-Uncle to many. Lou was preceded in death by his much-loved siblings, brothers, Yale, Max, Joseph and sisters, Minnie and Rhea. Lou was born in Cincinnati to Harry and Dora (Barg) Franklin. After serving as First Lieutenant in World War II, Lou graduated from law school in California, and returned to Cincinnati where he met his wife of almost 60 years, Elaine. Lou became an accomplished business owner, founding Franklin Financial Services in 1954. Lou was past President of the Cincinnati chapter of B'nai Brith. He was a passionate fan of his beloved Cincinnati Reds, avid tennis player, swimmer, remarkable author of several articles and an artist. A dedicated family man, he taught his children the value of family, love, charity, hard work and honesty. He will be missed deeply. Services were held Monday, July 28th at Levitt-Weinstein in Hollywood, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice By The Sea, who lovingly took care of Lou his last few days. HEFFNER Sr., William Bennett  
HEFFNER William Bennett Heffner, Sr., 92, passed away peacefully May 28 at Christ Hospital. Born in 1922 in Columbus, OH, raised in Circleville, OH, he graduated Cranbrook School in 1941, attended Kenyon College and graduated University of Michigan in 1948. Enlisted in the US Army 1942. Served as platoon sergeant in Patton's 3rd Army, 89th Infantry Division, where he participated in the Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns, culminating in the liberation of Ohrdruf concentration camp, a Buchenwald subcamp. Decorated with the Bronze Star, he was honorably discharged in Jan, 1946. After three years with the Heffner Grain Co, Circleville, he moved to Cincinnati in 1952 and began a 44-year career with the Pease Companies, holding a variety of senior management positions. Memberships included Presbyterian Church of Wyoming, University Club, Cincinnati Club, University of Michigan Club and Ohio Society. A multi-sport athlete in college, he especially enjoyed playing golf with his lifelong friends at Wyoming Golf Club. He was a devoted husband of 63 years to Janet Pease Heffner who predeceased him in 2011. Father of Nancy Heffner Donovan (Stephen), Cincinnati; William Bennett Heffner, Jr., who predeceased him in 2014, (Laurie Lanz), Terrace Park; Susan Heffner Monnier (Charles), Basel, Switzerland. Grandfather of Katherine Pease Donovan, Boston; George Bennett Heffner (Jennifer Hoeweler), Terrace Park; Philippe Edward Monnier, Zurich; Christophe Allan Monnier, Fribourg. Great-grandfather of Harlow Ann Heffner, Macy McNabb, Terrace Park. Predeceased by his parents Matilda Bennett Heffner and Harry Wefler Heffner, Circleville. Grateful friend of Kimberley Evon Wolf. Gravesite service Sat, Aug 22, 10:00 AM at Spring Grove Cemetery (9:45 AM escort at Gray Rd entrance to Pease family plot). Buffet Luncheon at 11:30 AM at Queen City Club. HURRELBRINK Gloria Jean (nee Marshall), 85, of Melbourne, FL (formerly of Newport, KY) passed away peacefully with family by her side on July 24, 2015. IVERSON, Albert Folsom "Al"  
IVERSON Albert Folsom Iverson "Al", Age 92, of Liberty Township, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born November 12, 1922 in Clyde Park, Montana to parents Joseph and Jennie Iverson. His parents moved their 11 children to Roxbury, Mass in 1931. Al served his country in the US Army Air Force for almost 3 years during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents and 12 siblings, as well as a daughter, Ruth. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharon, who was, in Al's own words, "the best thing that ever happened to me". He is also survived by 5 children, Leslie (Butch) Whittington, Karla Iverson, Al (Jane) Iverson Jr., Ann (Ken) McOsker and Amy (David) Kessen and step daughters Melody (Khalil) Omeish, Teresa (Mark) Wilson and Angela Fischbach and friend Carl Kessen. He also had 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Al was the founder of Iverson Industries Inc. and ran the business for many years, fulfilling the tri states pressure washer needs. He took great pride in his work and always loved his family. He was an unforgettable character who left an impression upon each person he met. He was truly blessed with a long life full of adventure, prosperity and most of all, spirit. There will be a Memorial Service held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 7:00PM with visitation at 6:00PM, both at Bible Baptist Church, 1249 Symmes Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Click Here to Send Flowers
