LYONS, Robert Joseph  
LYONS Robert Joseph, of Brookville, IN and Green Township, 78, passed away Friday April 24, 2015 at Bethesda North Hospital. Robert is survived by son Robert (Tina) Lyons, Jr. granddaughters Jourdan and Alyssa, grandsons Zachary and Nicholas. He is the beloved son of the late William Sr. and Elizabeth (nee Hertsenberg) Lyons. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judith Ann (nee Ventre) Lyons, and son William Lyons III. He is the brother of William Lyons II, the late June (Lyons) Woelfel and Lenny Lyons. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Visitation Church, 3172 South Road, Thursday 9 AM until time for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery. PALUMBO Dominick P. Palumbo, 88, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was born March 1, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Pasquale and Antonia Palumbo. Dominick was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Procter & Gamble after nearly 40 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joan (Jung) Palumbo; sons Michael (wife Joni) and Richard (wife Chris) of Marysville, Ohio, daughter Elaine (husband Jeff) Flannery of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; grandchildren Lissette (husband Shane) Walcutt, Maria (husband Nick) Owens, Nick (wife Adrienne) Flannery, Alyssa Flannery, Dominick Flannery, Alex Flannery, Kevin Palumbo and Derek Palumbo; Great Grandchildren, Ivelisse Walcutt, and Cormac Flannery and brother, Albert Palumbo of Cincinnati, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will be held at the St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross Catholic Church, 23455 Gavin Lane, Lawrenceburg, Indiana on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:00am. She was born on September 6, 1920 in Battle Run, Kentucky to the late Paul and Chloe McKee Hilterbrand. Elizabeth was a retired registered nurse for Purcell Marion High School, member of Blessed Sacrament Church and enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her husband Joseph G. Spare, brother, Everett (Kathleen) Hilterbrand and sister Emma Thelma (Gifford) Patrick. Survivors include sons, J. Timothy (Carol) Spare of Waldo, OH, Richard Spare of Cincinnati, daughter, Cathy (Mike) Rogers of Florence, grandchildren, Shannon (Philip) Russell, Shelby (Kevin) Werner, Scott (Jen) Spare, Michael Rogers, Brian Rogers and great grandchildren, Natalie and Owen Russell, and Jonah and Donovan Werner.
