Charles R. "Charlie" KEMP


Charles "Charlie" R., age 82, of Centerville, formerly of Cincinnati passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. He was a member of St. Peter and St. Paul United Church of Christ in Cincinnati. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, C. Helen Kemp, and grandson Andrew Kemp. Charlie is survived by his children, Cynthia (Paul) Cole, Charles R. (Renee) Kemp Jr., and Stephen A. (Barbara) Kemp, grandchildren, Laura (Michael) Monahan, Kyle Kemp, Melissa Kemp, Tyler Kemp and Kevin Kemp. Charlie proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War; a Manager at PNC (formerly Central Trust Bank) in Cincinnati for 35 years; member of the McMillan Lodge #141, F. & A.M., AASR, Syrian Temple, Cincinnati Shrine (Motor Patrol, Potentates Aid) and volunteered at American Heart Association. The family would like to especially thank the staff at Brighton Gardens, Crossroads Hospice, and Chop House Restaurant. Family will greet friends from 6:30-8:30pm on Monday, October 8, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at David's Cemetery.
