Daniel B. WOLFE(1942 - 2012)


Daniel B. Wolfe, 70, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012, at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Daniel was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 6, 1942, the son of David B. and Violet (Fosdick) Wolfe, and was a 1960 graduate of Wyoming High School. He earned a Bachelors Degree from College of Pacific, and studied at University of Cincinnati Law School for two years. Over the years, Mr. Wolfe was President of Soul Act Theatre in Clifton, Director of the Department of Housing for the city of Covington, Kentucky, President of McDaniel Realty, worked with The Webb Realty Company, was a Property Developer for Brandt Reality, and for the last seven years was a self-employed Property Developer in Cincinnati, Ohio. Daniel played varsity football at Wyoming High School, was a member of the Young Democrats. An avid Civil Rights Advocate, he helped organize voter registration in the 1960's South. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Dr. Jennifer C. Wolfe, Muncie; two sons, Bram Wolfe, Muncie, and Michael Wolfe, Muncie; a brother, Michael B. Wolfe, (wife-Cathy), San Rafael, California; Joel Ford Wolfe, (wife-Rebecca), a great niece, Amelia Rose; his father-in-law, Donald Combs, Richmond, Kentucky; and several extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his mother-in-law, Arvella Combs. The family will announce a memorial service, to be held in Cincinnati in the spring.
