Milton Cole, 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on December 12, 2012. Born August 12, 1920, in Cincinnati to Harry Cohen and Goldie Fleck. Milton was an Army
veteran of WWII
. He was the owner/broker of Trans State International Realty and sold commercial real estate for over 50 years. Milton was very creative, and liked to cook, paint, draw, and photograph, and to stay in touch via telephone. A favorite expression was "everything's copacetic." Milton was optimistic and loved life. He liked to say that he was practicing to live. Milton was a descendent of the Berman Family of Louisville, KY. His grandmother was Rose Berman and grandfather was Simon Cohen. Milton was the beloved father of Patricia Clark, San Diego; Elizabeth "Betsy" Knaak (and Manfred), Borrego Springs, CA; and Catherine Cole (and Jerry Long), Apple Valley, CA. He was the loving and proud grandfather of Barbara Clark, Cathy Clark Verstraete, Tiva Cole, Charles Cole, and Alexander Knaak; the great grandfather of Jaide Cole, Daphne Christianson, and Jules and Zelia Verstraete. Milton is also survived by Joan Daugherty, his loving companion of 15 years. He blessed us all for 92 years and will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A family celebration of his life will be held Jan. 12, 2013, in Apple Valley.
