William A. Simms, age 66, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Troy, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at his residence following a lengthy illness. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Summerside United Methodist Church in Cincinnati. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice of Cincinnati, 4380 Glendale Milford Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242 or Summerside United Methodist Church, 638 Old State Route 74, Cincinnati, OH 45244. Bill was the first Trooper to greet me on my arrival at the Piqua post back in 1980. Never forgot the simple greeting and the cake. My sincere condolences to the family and friends.
