Joseph P., Beloved husband of 42 years to Ruth Heimbach (Galster). Loving father of Michelle Beth (Chris) Remy, Jennifer Rose Petruk, and Rebecca Jo-Sarah Heimbach. Grandfather of Hannah Remy, Luke Remy, Brennan Remy, and Rylan Joseph Petruk. Joe was the owner of Tool Designers, Inc. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Joe was an outstanding grandfather and was known as "Papa Joe". Passed away suddenly on May 15, 2014 at the age of 70. Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., LIBERTY TWP., Ohio, on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Dragonfly Foundation, P.O. Dear Ruthie and the whole family , I am so sorry for your loss . I really didn't know Joe well , but I feel that I knew all about him . Ruthie , just from our talks since September and the posts people left about him , Joe was a wonderful man . He was a wonderful husband , father , grandfather and friend . Was sad to hear about Joe. I knew Joe through Buck Hangbers and our several golf trips to Hilton Head. I wasn't able to attend for several years, but was able to attend in February of 2014. I was fortunate to able play a round or two with Joe on that trip and, as always, enjoyed his company. Joe was a true gentleman and great guy! He will be missed. My condolences!

Was sad to hear about Joe. I knew Joe through Buck Hangbers and the several golfing trips we all took to Hilton Head, NC. I hadn't been able to attend the trips in the recent past, but was able to go in February of 2014, and fortunately I played golf with Joe and, as always, enjoyed his company.
