Phyllis, age 63, passed away July 12, 2017, beloved wife of Michael A. Thomas, devoted mother of Justin (Casey) Binik-Thomas and Aaron (Alyssa) Binik-Thomas, dear sister of Barbara Binik and Rochelle Binik Shaeffer, loving Bubbie of Ziva, Zoe, Isaiah and Joshua Binik-Thomas. Services Friday July 14 at 11:00 AM with visitation to start at 10:00 AM, Weil Funeral Home, 8350 Cornell Rd., Cinti, Oh 45249. Shiva week will be observed at the residence of Michael A. Thomas with 7:00PM Minyan each evening. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Rockwern Academy, Mercaz High School or Reclaiming Judaism would be appreciated. Weilfuneralhome.com

Phyllis had a way of making every single person she knew feel special and valued. I've never met anyone like her in my life. A true pearl. She leaves behind so many people who would never be who they are if not for knowing her.

To Phyllis's family...I'm so saddened to learn this news. I knew Phyllis many years ago while working at HUC-JIR. She was a lovely person and I will always remember her happy nature. She wore a smile every day.
