Fabienne Christenson Obituary
Fabienne, age 65, passed away on October 2, 2016 at Hospice of Cincinnati East with her husband, Gordon, next to her side. Joyful wife of 37 years to Gordon A. Christenson, step-mother of G. Scott Christenson, Ruth (Thomas) O'Brien, Nanette (Don) Dean, granny of Lauren, Brandon, Heather, Samantha, Evan, Kristen, Kelly, and Ethan. Owner, and President of Possets Perfume LLC, a global e-commerce independent she founded in 2006. Celebration of Life will take place on October 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, on 2944 Erie Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45208. Reception will follow in the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. Gwen Mooney Elden Good Chapel in charge of arrangements www.springgrove.org.

Oh, Gordon, how are you doing? We've just sold the Fayette house and have been going through the old photographs. I've reserved a special place for all of the ones of us together on those wonderful hikes. I still marvel at Fabiennne's ability to journal and sketch the activities of each day we spent on the trails.
What a large hole you must have in your heart, missing her! Such a marvelous love story that played out every time we saw you together. We miss those days and think often of both of you.

My deepest condolences to you, Gordon , and all of Fabienne's beloveds. I have never met Fabienne in person, but she came into my life through her forum and perfumes. Her wit, creativity, generosity and kindness quickly charmed me and I felt buoyed to have such a light in my scent world. I know how much you all are hurting, because even in our online world, we are grieving for our loss.

I'd like to offer my sincere condolences to Fabienne's husband, family, and friends. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Fabienne in person, I have enjoyed her creative spirit through her perfume and her associated writing for many years. She has brought and will continue to bring so much beauty and happiness to my life through this perfume. Her kindness, generosity, and spirit are greatly missed by many of us.

Oh, we're so sad to hear the news! We remember our hikes in Italy and Ireland, the sitting on the roof of the apartment in Portland, Maine, the Thanksgiving dinner at your house, the brief meetings at Club Purr, her paintings on our walls and, of course, Grandma's ginger cookies!

Oh, so sad. I met Fabienne as we both had studios on the 3rd floor at the Pendleton. A most brilliant and creative woman was she. I loved how it showed up in her paintings. She even had a periodic article in the Pendleton's newsletter, written by one of her alter egos - the Minister of Art. "Boring" was never part of the Fabienne I knew.
So sad.

I met Fabienne at Zumba class, she had such a vivacious spirit - I count her as one of my very first friends upon my moving to Cincinnati and it saddens me greatly to hear of her passing. I just found out this morning about Fabienne's passing. I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to Fabienne's husband and all her family. I know her through Possets perfumery and being part of her forum. I feel so sad to realize she is no longer with us. I have many of her lovely perfumes and am wearing one today in her memory. Besides her wonderful perfumes, Fabienne created a very special community for us through the Possets forum. I am so grateful to have known her and her work, and she will be greatly missed.

She had the timeless charm and wit of a great lady so it should be no surprise that her artistry was so influenced by the great women and art of history. I will miss dearly her unique vision and inspiration---something her customers were astounded by and privileged to behold.
I cannot fathom the void at her loss in the lives of those who loved her and knew her best. I can only say that she touched and continues to touch the lives of people she never knew. That's the greatest gift of an artist. I will think of her with only light and fondness and am grateful for what she left in this world.

Fabienne was a great friend back in high school at Stone Ridge. We were always laughing and finding lots to laugh at!
Thought of her so often over the years. Still have cartoons she penned of our shenanigans with the nuns!

The world has suffered a deep loss. Quite a few of us on Fabienne's perfume forum are reeling over the news, and we are deeply saddened over the loss of someone who loved and created wonderful perfumes while being an even more delightful and wonderful person. I am so sad to hear this news. Fabienne was a college roommate in a funky apartment in College Park Maryland. Only in recent years did I stumble across her on Facebook and I loved re-discovering and bantering with this funny, bright and intelligent soul.
