Brenda K., beloved wife of Ralph C. Taylor, loving mother of Mark (Janet) Taylor of Denver, CO, sister of Ruth (Bill) Slaughter, Joan (Jim) Hagan, and Bill Posey, devoted grandmother of Hayden and Lindsey Taylor. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the age of 67, after a long illness. Brenda was a secretary at Lakota and Lakota West High School, touching the lives of many students and staff. She and Ralph enjoyed travelling, spending time with family, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 1-3 PM at the Gwen Mooney Funeral Home, Spring Grove. Life Celebration will be held on Monday at 1 PM, same location. Interment Spring Grove Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed by a memorial contribution to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra

Brenda was one of the nicest people I have ever known. She and I had many talks when she worked at Lakota and we always ended up laughing. She was a wonderful person who will certainly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family at this most difficult time.

Mark and family,
Even though we only had the privilege of knowing Brenda for a short while, we will cherish and remember fondly the time we spent with her. She was a delight to be around. She was always smiling, up-beat and fun to be around. She was always willing to try anything. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Mark, I am so sorry to hear about you mom! I have such great memories of her...growing up in our neighborhood was the best...we had the best, we were surrounded by amaZing families...like yours! Ur mom always had a smile on her face and I was always glad to see her at school to! Please know that I am thinking of you and your family.
