Cecilia Russell died on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the age of 68 years. Beloved wife of The Rev. Gerald Ash, loving mother of Laura (Randy) Corbitt, Dr. James (Leeann) Fitzpatrick, Amy (Michael) Overbey, Amanda (Ernest) Freeland of Annapolis, MD and Ian Ash of Tokyo, Japan. Sister of Lucy (Gary) Lee of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Joseph (Joellen) Russell, and Stephen (Barbara) Russell. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jane Russell of Covington, KY. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 13, from 12:00 PM until time of memorial service at 1:30 PM at the Church of the Redeemer, 2944 Erie Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45208. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cincinnati YWCA, Rising Star Leadership Fund: empowering women to further their career. Gwen Mooney Funeral Home-Elden Good Chapel in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made through www.springgrove.org.

I will always treasure the nearly 25 year friendship I had with my wonderful friend, Cecie. I will miss her forever. I thank God that she lives on in the lives of those who knew her an loved her.
