Bob Lee Kelly, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 18, 2014. Beloved husband of Beatrice Kelly. Loving father of Valecia Kelly, Bobby Kelly (Denessa), Deidre Kelly and Lucretia Long (Darryl). Grandfather to Fredrick, Jr., Cammy, Staci, Darryl, Jr., Dominique and Bobby. Great Grandfather to Destinee, Aniyah and Carmyn. Bob played professional football with the Houston Oilers, Kansas City Chiefs and was one of the original Cincinnati Bengals. After retiring from the NFL, he taught and coached at Hughes High School for over 27 years. Visitation: Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship located at 2324 May Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. There will also be visitation services held on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McCall Funeral Home located at 3800 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229, 513.662.2255. Sorry for the passing of our cousin, Bob.
He was truly a trail blazer. His life and service is a testimonial to his humble beginning in Carlsbad. I also looked up to him with pride. He would always come by the house and visit with my mom. May he rest in peace. His cousin, JVYoung.
