James Baker Obituary
James E. Baker, 64, of Amelia, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016. He was born May 4, 1952 in Pineville, Kentucky, son of Marjorie Walker Baker and the late Vincent Baker. He was married to Donna Kay Meeks Baker, who survives, for 36 years. Jim was loved by many and will be missed by all. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Anji Stonebraker and Courtney (Todd) Presar; grandchildren, Samantha (Dylan) Munn, Kaitlyn and Ashlee Howell, Gage and Brynn Presar; siblings, Sam (Bonnie) Baker, Sandra (Jeff) Ashba, Butch Baker, Gael (Bob) Fawley and Troy (Yvonne) Baker as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his best-friend and companion, Ares. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St. (SR 125), Amelia. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tri-County. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the James Edward Baker memorial fund at any 5/3 Bank. Please sign his online tribute wall at www.ecnurre.com

Jim was a good man to be around, I was on B.M.O.P Fire Dept Back years ago with Jim and learned alot he would help anyone no matter who it was.Since ive bought things i needed for my gun from him and if he didnt have it he would get it for you. GOOD MAN AND WILL BE MISSED.
