HESSLER Theodore "Ted" E. Jr. Departed to eternal life on March 25, 2010 Beloved husband of Hilda (nee Moriarity) Hessler for 55 years; father of Greg (Carmella) Hessler of Norris Lake, TN and Gary (Gwen) Hessler and "GRANDPA" to Brandon and Bryson of Bright IN. Step-grandchildren Micah, Amanda, Carmen and 6 step-great grandchildren; Son of the late Theodore Sr. and Martha (nee Wiesman) Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friend. Born and raised in Mount Healthy Ohio being a resident for 72 years. Was currently a resident of Colerain Twp. Retired Detective Sgt. of the Springfield Twp. Police Dept. he worked many high profile cases. Member of the F.O.P. #113, Past Commander of Mt. Healthy Legion Post #513 and former member of Mt. Healthy Fire Department and a member of the Catholic Kolping Society; Ted loved baseball and played for the St. Louis Cardinals farm system in Florida until entering the US army; Held the record for the longest ball hit in the Fernald Inter-plant league; Lifelong Member of the Church of Assumption Mt. Healthy. Visitation will be at Paul R. Young Funeral Home 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy on March 29, 2010 from 5 to 8 P.M. Memorial Services conducted by the Hamilton County F.O.P. and the American Legion will start at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Church of the Assumption 7711 Joseph St., Mt. Healthy on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at 11 AM; Internment at St. Mary's Cemetery Mt. Healthy; Memorials may be given as spiritual bouquets or to the American Heart Association.
