Archie, passed away during sleep on July 21, 2012, at the age of 87, while a resident for a brief time at Mercy West Park Senior Living in Cincinnati, OH. Beloved husband for 64 years of the late Ruth J. Bolton, devoted father of Karen Regina of Cincinnati and Cynthia Sefton of Danbury, CT. Survived also by sister-in-law Martha Jollie of Cincinnati, brother-in-law John Goodwin, Sr., of Cape Coral, FL, and several nephews and nieces, including Thomas Niederhelman of Dublin, OH, Harold Hoffman of Covington, GA, John Goodwin, Jr., of Ft. Myers, FL, and Sandy Mason of Hyde Park, MA. Born November 2, 1924, in Stanford, KY, the sixth and last child of James and Clara (Ross) Bolton, who preceded him in death, as did three sisters (Faye Purkiser, Edna Hoffman, and Virginia Goodwin) and two brothers (James M. Bolton and Oelles Bolton). A World War II veteran and lifelong resident of Cincinnati. Skilled tool-and-die maker by vocation, sports enthusiast and avid poker player by avocation, exemplary husband and father by nature. Member of "the greatest generation." Private services at the convenience of the family, followed by inurnment at Spring Grove Cemetery.
