Donald D. Keiser, 85, of Fort Thomas, passed away on March 26, 2013 at Highlandspring of Fort Thomas. He was a retired package designer and proofreader with Lipsom Alport Glass & Associates. He graduated from Walnut Hills High School and in 1950 from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science - Applied Arts degree. In 1967 Don was elected to the prestigious Art Director's Club of Cincinnati. Don served in the military for two years during the Korean conflict. Mr. Keiser's mother played the piano and sang, and her family was always "into music". Don took piano lessons in his teen years and later from a teacher at Xavier University. He had a Grand Piano in his home most of his life and loved to play. In 2012 he donated his piano to the Xavier University Music Series where it is used and very much appreciated. He enjoyed art and had an interesting collection of all types of art including paintings and sculptures. He was a member of Social and Academic Fraternities at UC. Don was born January 28, 1928 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Clifford Keiser and Ellen Gosmeyer Keiser. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sister, Carol E. Keiser. Visitation is from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the Funeral Ceremony at 11:00 am, Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home 427 S. Ft. Thomas Ave. Ft. Thomas, KY (across the street from St. Thomas Church). Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery (New), Cincinnati, Ohio.
