Fadwa "Brownie" (nee Hamad) passed away peacefully in Hospice of Cincinnati surrounded by her family April 11, 2013. She was born to Charles and Rosa (Amoury) Hamad on November 11, 1915, in Cincinnati. She married Paul D. Abdallah on June 27, 1937. She was the beloved mother to Rosalie (John) Hoar and Miriam (Robert) Clark. Fadwa and her husband Paul lived in Cincinnati most of their lives and were business owners. At one time she was co-owner of Harold's Bar and Grill in Mt. Washington, the Clover Bar in O'Bryanville, and the City Hall Cafe at Ninth and Plum downtown. Besides her daughters and sons-in- law, she leaves behind ten grandchildren whom she loved dearly: the Hoar children Paul (Melinda), Mark (Patricia), Christopher (Ann), Matthew (Kerry), and Anthony (Sue); the Clark children Constance Wehmeyer (Matthew), Karen Davies, Deborah DeDomenico (Michael), David Clark (Brandy), and Jeffrey Clark (Shannon). She also is survived by seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, nephew Victor Abdallah, her parents, her five siblings Charles Hamad, Isabel Pinero, Alice Misleh, Edward Hamad, Sophia Hamad, and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 2524 Victory Pkwy. Monday, April 15 at 10:30am. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until time of Mass. Entombment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. Geo. H. Rohde & Son Funeral Home, Mt. Lookout, in charge of arrangements.
