Frances Irene (Plummer). Fran took her final curtain call on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. She was born at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia on July 11, 1954. Hers was not to be the life of a Navy brat. At the age of two, her family took up residence in Goshen, OH. Growing up, Fran was known for her dramatic flair and made a name for herself onstage in high school. Not long after graduating from Goshen High School in 1972, Fran moved to Colorado, Virginia, back to Ohio in 1980, and then off to Pittsburgh in 2011. She was an avid reader of newspapers and books, a knowledgeable fan of music and the theatre, and always had NPR playing in the background. Her greatest love in life was her children. For eight years, Fran educated her youngest children, Dan and Nora, at home, where she taught them about nature in their backyard and read them works such as Les Misérables over lunch. She was a dedicated employee and friend to co-workers; she brought her warmth, energy, and passion to her jobs at Lebanon Citizens National Bank in Lebanon, OH; King's Veterinary Hospital in Cincinnati, OH; and Giant Eagle in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. Fran was preceded in death by her father, Don Plummer, and survived by her children: Sasha (Theresa), Dan (Erin), and Nora (Andy) and granddaughter Destiny; her mother: Nora Plummer; her sisters: Deb Baker, Peg Plummer, and Holly Chaker; her former husbands: Rick DeMerle, Karl Corbett, and Larry Mozingo; her loving nieces and nephews; a large cast of very dear friends; and her dog: Rory. A celebration of Fran's life will be held at Cowan Lake in Clinton County, OH on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
