CARPER

George S. age 86 is survived in death by his beloved wife Jewel (nee Rogers), dear daughter Ronnie Sassoon, loving sons Robert and Kenneth (Lora) Carper and dear Granddaughters; Christina, Kendra, Sandra, and Alexandra Carper. He is preceded in death by his dear sister Jacquelyn Lucas. George's community service has included: Eagle Scout & troop leader, Scottish Rite Mason, Hamilton County Infrastructure Commission leadership, Church Officer, School Boards, various Trade Organizations & Manufacturing Advisory Groups. He is also a WWII Navy Veteran. He attended U.C. on scholarship and graduated with highest honors; received a Master's degree and became a Registered Professional Engineer. He devoted the first 40 years of his business life to Cincinnati Milacron Inc., including as Corporate Works Manager & Vice President of the Machine Tool Group - worldwide. Following retirement, George co-founded the engineering company, ITE, with cherished friend Daniel Lehr, where he retired as Chairman in 2010. While greatly respected for his brilliant intellect and business acumen, George was loved by all who knew him, particularly his family, and he will be remembered for his wit, integrity, generosity, and kindness. A celebration of George's life will be held at Kenwood Country Club this Friday, Nov. 1, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Memorial donations welcome to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
