STOEHR

Jean M. (nee Hellkamp) quietly passed on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 to meet her beloved husband Paul J. Stoehr, who predeceased her by 34 years into eternity.

Devoted mother of Edward (Andrea) Stoehr of Danby, VT and Michael (Julie Tewart) Stoehr and Mary (Edward) Herbers, both of Cincinnati. Loving grandmother of Nathan, Ben and Olivia Stoehr and Joe, Edward and Sam Herbers. Dear sister of Ray Hellkamp of Albany, NY and William Hellkamp (Dorothy) of Fairfield, IA. Dear sister in law of Peggy Stoehr Bauer. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillian (nee Mielke) Hellkamp and step-mother Edith (nee Kampf) Hellkamp.

In her 81 years, Jean made a difference in the lives of many people but slowed in the past 5 years by Parkinson's. A great lady of strong character, deep faith and kind disposition. An active parishioner of St. William Church for over 50 years, she served her community well as Choir member, Eucharistic Minister and Lector. There she also welcomed people into the church as a Catechist, and offered consolation to the sorrowful on the Bereavement Committee. An Associate in Mission with the Sisters of Charity since 1998 where she volunteered at Mother Margaret Hall. A member of the Price Hill Historical Society (PHHS) doing interviews and writing oral histories to document the past. Retired Executive Secretary from PNC bank. Jean was fun and made friends easily.

She dearly loved people and she will be missed by many from the Seton Class of 1949, Neumann Club, Card Club, Book Club, Canasta Card Club, Breakfast Club, Supper Club, the Healthplex, small prayer group, Heinz Variety and the residents and staff of Bayley.
