Francis Hennings Obituary

COLONIE Francis Joseph Hennings, age 81, entered into eternal life Thursday, November 6, 2003. Born in Albany, he was a lifelong area resident. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and had been employed by the City of Albany for many years. Son of the late William and Mary Brady Hennings. Beloved husband of the late JoAnn Stella Hennings; loving father of William Hennings and his wife Diane of Colonie, Barbara Homicz and her husband Jay of Caroga Lake, Deborah Dittmer of Voorheesville, and Linda Hennings and her fiance Vincent Milgo of Albany; cherished grandfather of Rachel and Billy Hennings and Ian Dittmer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 8 Dudley Heights, Albany (opposite the Philip Livingston School on Northern Blvd) Monday morning at 11:30. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.

barb, sorry to hear about frank, he is going to that Big dump in the sky (as he often asked u if you sold that dump yet!!!) we r thinking of u, tell the family we r sorry for thier loss
