My sadness for the loss of this artist whose is still very appreciated here in Europe. I am happy to buy his Dixie 'Sweet Love' many years ago. He will remain among us for a long time. Obviously, here in Europe we did not know him personally but the music goes beyond borders. Peace be upon his soul.

I remember 45 years ago first meeting Orangie with his WCLU green jacket. No idea who he was and told him I didn"t know a thing about country music.
Since that time we have become true friends. We did many interesting things things together. What great memories!!!!
My oldest daughter Teri broke her arm when she was just five trying impress him by climbing over a fence in our back yard. Orangie picked her and held her all the way to the hospital, She never forgo that day or Orangie. She is 47.
