Timothy Hedrick Obituary
Timothy Robert beloved husband and best friend of Cynthia Marie Hedrick, proud and loving father of Jonathan Loyal Hedrick, Hannah Kathleen Hedrick, and Joseph Robert Hedrick. Beloved son of Elizabeth Kay Hedrick, brother of Jennifer Kay Bialobok, Douglas Loyal (Melissa) Hedrick. Uncle to Charlie and Grace Bialobok, Taylor and Bailey Hedrick, Bryan and Jeff Moritz. Preceded in death by his father Robert Loyal Hedrick. Survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He passed away surrounded by family on April 23, 2016 at the age of 55. A family man first and foremost, his greatest joy came from spending time at home with his family. His best qualities will undoubtedly live on through his wife and children. He's left an indelible mark on those that knew him and a legacy that will not be forgotten. Memorial Service open to the public will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 7:30pm at Xavier University, Cintas Center.

33 years old now but as a child, Tim was our weatherman. I have fond memories of him visiting my elementary school teaching us weather cycles. My mind holds on to the memory of him as a significant figure from growing up, alongside a few favorite teachers. He made a difference and he is remembered.

Was in Cheviot, Cincinnati, walking along the business area with my "Senior Mother" when I spotted a jogger heading our way. I said "its the weatherman" and spread my arms wide, teasingly&automatically, Tim kept jogging and sweetly said "No, no, no"...I put my arms down, smiled as he smiled back>he jogging past. This probably in early 1990'ties. I remember his gracious way and kind smile and the fact he seemed to know I was "a teaser" and would not inhibit his stride.
Best of best in his work. The best of best in his gracious acceptance of his recognition.

Tim was a household name for us. When talking about weather we'd only have to say, " Tim said...." We trusted him and loved his weather reports. He will be missed.

So saddened at the news of Tim's passing. Watched his weather forecast with my mom and dad all the time. My mom actually won a gift certificate from him, he was asking for dessert recipes for 'Grilling with Tim' and she sent one in and won. She was so tickled! We all loved Tim and will miss his forecast. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Just a viewer during his time with Channel 12 News, but knew he was a man of integer y, and kindness. Loved his backyard barbecue segments as well. He could connect with people, just by being Tim. Many gifts and talents. He will be missed. Prayers.

To the entire Hedrick Family and the Channel 12 family,
I have watched Tim for the past 28 years which was when he first started. No matter how bad my day was when I turned the tv on to watch the news there he was doing something silly and makeing me laugh and forgetting what a bad day I had. I worked in same building as Tim for 16 years and he made me laugh so many times and was also a strong shoulder for me at a time in my life when that was needed. He made me smile just seeing his million dollar smile when he talked to people. He had something for all ages , and everyone walked away with a smile on their faces and a lot of love in their hearts from the love he gave to all. He took extra time for all children no matter where he was,it was easy to see how much he loved having them around. He was one of the best in his line of work,and many young weather people learned much from his teachings through the years. I am one of so many who knew him who felt honored to have called him my friend.May he produce only beautiful weather for the rest of the Angels in heaven for now and for ever.

We all felt like he was part of our family! After weeks of my mom asking me everyday if I heard anything about Tim I learned he passed away! I called my mom in tears! My mom was so sad to hear of his passing too and my husband and kids we felt like we knew him! Prayers to his family! We all loved him! God bless!

I really do know how you feel Cindy, I lost my husband last October and he had prostate cancer also. he had the seeds implanted then he contacted Pumonary Fibrosis , Its a terrible loss we were married 60 years , Bless you and your children I know they hurt also. May all your friends comfort you everyone keeps telling me he is in a better place and all I can say to them is no he isn't if he were he would be with me here.

A few years ago when the snow seemed like it would not go away my husband was snow blowing our store parking lot. Mr. Hedrick saw this and set up the camera and filmed my husband while he was cleaning the snow. Mr. Hedrick and my husband did not exchange one word, he just kept filming and it was on the news. Sad news about him. RIP

My deepest sympathies go out to the Hedrick family. Mr. Tim Hedrick will be missed. He was One of the best meteorologist in all the different cities and states I lived in Tim was the best not just professional but he was very personable in all his meteorologist broadcast. I remember in the winter he would talk about how he would have a family of snow people in the broadcast .He would tell how his wife would help him build his sets. I would really enjoy all the knowledge that he taught me in his Job as a meteorologist. And your segments of grilling with Tim. thank you for all the smiles . you will be missed and you are definitely one of God's angels
