Abdul BILAL Obituary
Abdul, passed away, Sunday July 15, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held at J.C. Battle & Sons Funeral Home, 543 Rockdale Avenue, (Avondale) on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 5:00 PM. Abdul dedicated his life to reducing violence in the community (CIRV). His achievements will be recognized at this memorial service and will be followed by a march to the Lincoln Statue at Rockdale and Reading Roads. J.C. Battle & Sons Funeral Home is serving the family.

My father, Abdul, or as my brother and I call him Abu, was a good father. I miss him SO much! I never realized what he really did and how much of a impact he left on people or the legacy he left. I just thought of him as dad. He is one of the most deepest, loving and intelligent people I know and I thank God he put somebody like him in my life! I miss you so much Abu and I love you with all my heart!

Compassionate Brother is right! Abdul is one of the hardest and tireless workers for Justice and Peace, deeply caring Community Member, and faithful to his Vision and Life's Purpose. Beautiful person, Loving Brother. Helped me very much on many occasions. Abdul is a Really Good Man!
